new life underway
I still have doubts... doubts about my life and my future and what I want to do and what I should do. However though, I'm just going to have to do whatever is necessary. I'm going to become a teacher and that's my business. That's the only thing right now that I have to think about. So the earthquake in the Tohoku area occurred on March 11, 2011. Graduation was cancelled, so was the skating club party, ice hockey party, taiikukai grad ceremony...everything was cancelled. Even though I know I shouldn't be asking for more than what I have, it's still very sad that all the fun has been called off. But I've had fun this spring break doing lots of fun and crazy stuff with my friends. I also had the best deprieved romance of my life as well. でも決めた、私、絶対過去は振り返らない。前だけをみて、前進して、いい女になって、絶対幸せになる。

my life underway
wow, long time no write!
a lot has happened since the last time i wrote here! keio skating club is still the same old shit, my competent is the same, being annoying...and just thinking about the skating club makes me feel disgusting and sick. anyhow, i have exactly 10 days til im 100 percent free from torture! 3 days of tolerance in hokkaido and my life would be brilliant.
anway, my life has been pretty amazing these days! i went to saipan with my mayumi for 4 days where we had the most exquisite time chatting, walking long hours on the beach, getting tanned, and chilling. we even went snorkeling. and i think im going to yakushima with 4 of my good friends, and hokkaido with tomochan. fun fun fun!!
my graduation thesis came out all right. professor tatsumi is going to check them on the 4th...lets wait and see how it turns out. and i have a nomikai with a guy i just recently met. he was sitting next to me at the sokei baseball game a few months ago and we met again at the taiikukai bonenkai :) he's really nice.
my dad's back in japan at the moment. he'll be going to back to mexico city tomorrow. how sad. but tomorrow's our shopping day at lalaport. i have to buy new clothes, BADLY!

i havent written here for about 10 days! i've been having fun, teaching at keio futsubu. My teaching debut was on june 5th. managing time for the classes is the most difficult part, because each one of the classes react differently and their English levels are all different. of course there are returnee students in some of the classes, and some students are just horrible with English. But the futsubu boys are straight-forward, meek, and genuine. they're really cute.
i'm going to my second interview for merrill lynch on thursday. who expected this coming? i definitely didnt. i thought i failed on my first interview. i dont have so much (or close to none) knowledge about finance and investment banking, but somehow, they felt they wanted to see me again. wow, life could be so mysterious.
by the way, i'm going to the tanabata fes at SFC on july 3rd with mayumiiiii! SO EXCITED!!! and the yakiniku party with my fellow teacher training people are coming up next week, and i'm back at mita probably starting on june 21st!! i've got to start prep for my douglass presentation on june 22nd!!! ahhhhhhh BUSY BUSY BUSY

teacher's training
i started teacher's training at keio futsubu on may 19th. there are things that are tough, but it's lots of fun and rewarding to have the opportunity to actually stand up in front of the class and teach. my job-hunting busiess is going awfully and there's absolutely no luck, but i'm telling myself not to think about it too much and just concentrate on this wonderful opportunity at keio futsubu.
what's interesting is that im going to an interview for merrill lynch. my resume was good enough for an interview! surprising. i don't know when it will be yet, but probably sometime next week. im patiently waiting for the email notice.
and this past few weeks, not even once did i take the time to think about skating and the skating club. until after golden week, i was fireing up on how to make a better team with politeness and manner. somehow, i figured out that that's IMPOSSIBLE, as long as those 3 bitches exist on this earth. i'm not even going to attempt to make them obey, or at least act politely towards the seniors. i give up...they're even more immature than the futsubu boys. at least the futsubu boys responds to what i say and at least they listen. haha
i'm going to think seriously about my own life and forget about the skating team for a while. at least i dont have to think about it until june 20 when i finish teachers training. i'm going to firstly make my life perfect, have a blast, and enjoy the rest of senior year with my friends and zemi girls going abroad, traveling, and just enjoying every second of keio life!

senior year and such
wow i havent written here in over a month!
so i started my final year in university and having a blast as always. i actually feel good about my life, even though my life still isn't so amazing. i've yet to have received an acceptance from a firm. And the skating club whatnots arent going so brilliantly either. but i guess going to classes, seeing people, and actually having something that keeps me busy (like the stupid zemi presentation prep and linguistic exam) hinders me from thinking about the insecurity of my surroundings.
next week, i've got my first interview for SHARP and mitsubishi corporation, two of which i REALLY want to work for. and mr. w is being so sweet. he's trying to find every means to comfort me and cheer me up. he's so nice.

today was an awesome day and a horrible day all at once. first of all, my neck aches like insane. the left side's weird. i think i pulled a muscle or something. doctor told me it wasn't a disjoint so that was good news. but i cant really move my neck up, down, right, nor left. ouch.
i got my resume done for NHK educational. i really really hope i pass! and i also got a call from mitsubishi UFJ bank and toky marine and i get to go to the interview!!!! YAYYYYYYYYY!!!
i think hings are finally starting to head to the right direction. i feel so much better about myself, my life, and my future. there's nothing i can't do!!! GO ME!!

today was my first day at work this month! i just could resist not working more...my life's way too hectic already with skating and job hunting. anyhow, i went to see a recruiter for Sumitomo Mitsui Bank. it was quite an experience. i have to study harder. a lot harder.
and mr. n is amazing. i was reeeaaaalllly down about everything, especially with the skating club and how a lot of people were very incorporative this spring having to do with making the skating team better. as a matter of fact, they don't practice enough. they can't even attend the two weekly practices. what's the point of them of being a part of the skating team? haha, i know it's not funny, but i can't stop laughing. they're definitely way out of my hands. anyway, so i somehow decided i emailed mr. n and he replied and his words made me feel so much better. now i think i could have confidence in myself, because i'm a CAPTAIN afterall. there's nothing to be scared of.

argh
so i was at home the whole day besides going out to buy some delicious cake and ice cream at a nearby place. i got practically nothing underway. i still got so much stuff left to do. argh. and i failed that test for shueisha. FUCK! only if i was able to actually go to the interview and say something!!!! mad mad mad!!! but oh well. i still have loads of tests and interviews still to come.
anyway, tomorrow's practice is cancelled because theres gonna be way too many people at the rink and its dangerous. and you know what, its starting to get annoying how she asks me to check everything after she gets her part done. i mean, making those records and organizing the data are HER business and not mine. if she thinks she's got them done correctly, i dont mind and i dont care. i only want to thank her for getting it done. but it takes one to know one! she's busy. so am i. she's not the only one whos busy. i have my own business to get done as well. otagaisama...
ugh, im tired...i've got stuff to get done. blehhh

gee i'm busy!
i've been so busy the past month. there are just too many resumes to write and too many seminars and too many (well maybe not yet) interviews. i'm starting to get a bit tired and exhausted from all the job hunting business surrounding me. bleh.
anyway, i met two recruiters last week. i don't really understand this "recruiter system" in japan. is it like a back door admission to an enterprise or does it just make getting in to a company a little easier? it's so mysterious.
yesterday, i went to take a test for shueisha, which was a complete question mark. it's not a kind of test where if you study, you score high. it asks us EVERYTHING. i mean, EVERYTHING, from music, sports, politics, history, entertainment, fashion....i mean, who expected abercrombie and fitch, kitson, cher, and ugg to be on a shueisha entrance test? it's ridiculous. but english, obviously, was a piece of cake for me!!!!
anyhow, he's back from india safely, and it seems like i can hear some very interesting (but somewhat scary) stories of his journey. but when am i going to see him? that is my biggest question and concern. i have to come up with a very persuasive excuse/reason for seeing him. maybe i'll ask him to check my resumes if they're all right.

nothing much
so this morning i had skating practice 8:30-9:30. i didnt receive as much emotional damage as i did the past two practice sessions. still, it was all right. and i feel that my skating's coming back too. i'm getting a hang of the lutz and flip again and my loop is completely back. so is my axel/double toe combo.
after arriving home, i took a nap for a few hours...i just couldnt resist, i was way too tired. then i got stuff done. except nothing really got done anyway.
ive got the second interview for a tv broadcast company. hope it goes well!

past couple of days
so i went to a job interview for TV asahi for the contents division. i choose the news coverage division. the interviewers were old and they just stared at my face when i said that my speciality is doing an ina bauer. it was completely turned off! and the result....?? FAILED! i definitely talked too much. to leave a good impression, i felt that it's important to make everything short and precise.
but on the 7th, i went to TV asahi's interview for a different division, the technology div. and i passed the first interview. yayyyyy!!
one thing i'm really thinking about these days is that i really dont like the keio skating team and i dont like adults who are unreasonable. i dont like adults that meddle and interfere with me. i dont like adults who go ballistic with the smallest nit-picking details. in all, i dont like the alumnis of the keio skating club. i just simply wish that they'd "leave us alone" and "leave it to us" to run the most un-organized club in all of keio, and perhaps all of japan, and maybe all of the world.
it aint gonna go anywhere, no matter how hard i try, so i feel it's not even worth focusing all my effort into skating. ive obviously got other stuff to do, like filling in resumes and job hunting, studying for SPI and what not. my number one priority is NOT figure skating at the moment. it might become my priority once i finish job hunting, but there's no reason that i have to make it the most important element in my life. of course i have plans to take trips abroad to europe and the us and im NOT reluctant about skipping practice to fly over there and have an amazing time!!!!
anyway, tomorrow i have practice 8:30-9:30. i'm coming home PROMPTLY to start writing my ES's and doing stuff i left unattended!!!
good nightttt!

long time
wow, i havent posted in this thing for a reallllly long time, since november!! what a surprise.
anyway, i appointed as captain of the keio skating team. my buddy is the competent. even since the announcement on january 8th, i was determined to CHANGE the club and make it more strict, and create an environment where we all can grow up and improve technically and psychologically. i was really determined to do it. but it turned out that the alumnis of the club are just too assertive about what we want to do and they always try to compel their own values to us. and they are always nit-picking on the smallest details that arent even important in operating the club. its like, just leave us alone and let us do our own business. and what makes them think that they're so distinguished from others?? this whole thing went beyond getting mad or annoyed. i'm just simply utterly scandalized. i'm just going to ignore whatever they want to say. our club isnt going to change drastically. i just want to administer in taking a very small step towards success.
and i'm going to a job interview tomorrow. it's my first, EVER!!! i'm kind of nervous but excited at the same time. i'll ace this!
and i'm going out for lunch with shiho. yay! i havent talked to her in way too long!

christmas around the corner?!

on sunday, i woke up VERY early for skating club off-ice training. luckily, we didnt have do the run because of the rain. but we had to much training and here i am, with a terrible muscle-ache. i cant even go down the stairs properly. after the meeting with the leaders and proctors, i headed to minatomirai to spend the day with my favorite girls, junko and shiho, plus this time, ryo came around and joined us.
we chatted at the pie place baffy's which just opened in sakuragicho. gosh, ryo is way too hilarious. but his hallucinations are logical. but i mean, how can hallucinations be logical? i thought they were supposed to be exorbitant.
anyway, so after chatting we just walked around the perfect dating route in one of my favorite cities in all of japan. akarenga warehouse was lightened up and was stunning. but i guess not a place to go with three girls and one guy...haha and the ferris wheel is always romantic.
so that's what happened yesterday...and today i became a total social dropout and faced the laptop screen for 12 continuous hours to work on my zemi presentaion. it didnt go anywhere...i still have a loooooong way to go before the 26th.
my eyes hurt, my muscle-ache is terrifying, my shoulders are stiff, and i got this terrible headache. i'm sorry but i cannot go to tomorrow morning's practice.

week off!!
i have a week off from class because of the mita festival!! today was my first day off, but somehow i ended up being in mita for the skating club meeting in which practically no one showed up. nonsense!! nuts!! i definitely dont have a place to belong at the club this moment. i feel that my zemi friends are the closest and that's where i want to be. i dont really want to think about the keio skating team. i dont want to be captain either. but maybe i have to be, who knows.
after the meeting i had work 13:15 to 21:30. there was barely any customer. of course, it's wednesday. bleh.
tomorrow, i'll be in mita media all day long time start or perhaps finish my preparation for zemi presentation. ill probably get scolded by mr tatsumi for not spending enough time on my research, but i have an excuse. ive got OTHER stuff i have to do (like having fun lol)
omg, it's already 1am and i think i seriously need to go to bed.

mt takao, seminars, clubbing and such
wow, i havent written here for over a week!! so much happened since the last time i wrote here!
on sunday the 8th, i, along with shiho, yukirin, chimin, and 3 guys went to climb mount takao. IT WAS A BLAST! it was my first time meeting two of the guys, but we got along really well. it was a tough way to the top of the mountain, but seeing the beautiful scenery from there was gorgeous. the soba we had there was great too.
and i've been going to seminars for job huning lately. i went to one for detusche bank, sumitomo corporation, i also went to have a talk with ms. morita, a skating club OG. now i have a clue of where i want to be in april 2011!!!!
on friday the 13th, i went out clubbing in roppongi with ami and her french friend. it was my first time clubbing. the worst part is that i had to catch the last train home. i got home around 1:30am and my mom went totally ballistic. not fun! the clubbing part was all right. there was this really annoying guy that just kept bugging me and tried to put his arm around my waist. he was gross. but other than that, it was fun. but maybe, clubbing isnt my thing. i'd rather spend my friday evenings chatting with my friends at starbucks, having dinner at a "normal" place, or just facebooking or something like that. i thought that once is enough already. i'm not sure if i want to go do it again. but if i were to go again, i want to spend the whole night clubbing to see what real clubbing is actually like.
starting tomorrow, i have a week off from school because of the mita festival. YAY YAY YAY! i have go to get working to prepare for my zemi presentation which is coming up on the 26th, my second day back in class. i havent done a thing yet. oh well.
